For Moldovans, Romanians, Russians, Ukrainians and Serbs who still respect old traditions New Year is celebrated in the night between 13th and 14th of January. This date was set according to Julian and Gregorian calendars. Each country has it's own interesting traditions that people perform and celebrate during this night.

In Moldova children and teenagers dress up in different characters and perform different scenes. The most popular is "Capra" which means The Goat in English.
